About Frumpy Rumps

Frumpy Rumps was launched in 2003. It joined Young Colors and Silly Sarongs in providing custom, quality clothing and accessory lines as part of r&d int'l inc. Husband and wife team Robert & Donna Prescott began the company in 1998 with the vision of creating original, fun, children's products inspired by their extensive travels abroad.

The couple's first line, Young Colors, was born as a result of the incredible cultural exposure the couple experienced while living, working and traveling in Southeast Asia. One popular design from the Young Colors line was a three piece infant dress set with ruffled diaper cover. The diaper cover alone became a great addition to the infant sized dresses throughout the line. After repeated boutique requests, the diaper covers become their own brand called Frumpy Rumps.

The Infant Gift Accessory line is offered in Brights, Pastels and Whites. Also included in the collection are baby bonnets, a two piece dress set, and reasonably priced diaper bags (or all-occasion bags, as we like to call them) with matching bag identification tags. They are available for immediate delivery. Fashion forward colors are available seasonally.

The styles do lend themselves beautifully to personalized monogramming. Look for new styles and colors coming soon!
